From: Andrew Trick Date: Wed, 10 Apr 2013 01:06:56 +0000 (+0000) Subject: Generalize the PassConfig API and remove addFinalizeRegAlloc(). X-Git-Url: http://demsky.eecs.uci.edu/git/?a=commitdiff_plain;h=5ed028385c39f3de4570fa6f77c734d968d26902;p=oota-llvm.git Generalize the PassConfig API and remove addFinalizeRegAlloc(). The target hooks are getting out of hand. What does it mean to run before or after regalloc anyway? Allowing either Pass* or AnalysisID pass identification should make it much easier for targets to use the substitutePass and insertPass APIs, and create less need for badly named target hooks. git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk@179140 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8 --- diff --git a/include/llvm/CodeGen/Passes.h b/include/llvm/CodeGen/Passes.h index fc8aa75ddfe..7b0aa8fab7a 100644 --- a/include/llvm/CodeGen/Passes.h +++ b/include/llvm/CodeGen/Passes.h @@ -35,6 +35,46 @@ namespace llvm { class PassConfigImpl; +/// Discriminated union of Pass ID types. +/// +/// The PassConfig API prefers dealing with IDs because they are safer and more +/// efficient.
